Disney Transportation, How to get around at Disney World

A vacation at Walt Disney World® Resort really is like living a bubble of magic. One of the greatest perks of staying on property at the Most Magical Place on Earth is that you don’t need a car. Transportation is easily available for a range of cost from affordable to luxury to get you from the airport to your resort. Once you’re on property, Disney’s transportation is easy to use and fun too!

Here is the best list for getting from one place to another during your vacation.

  • From Disney’s Animal Kingdom® or Disney’s Magic Kingdom® Park – Bus*
  • From EPCOT®– there are two entrances to this park. I recommend the exiting at the International Gateway then use the Friendship Boats or Skyliner, you can also walk (it’s about 1 mile) from here to get to Hollywood Studios® . If you are exiting from the main entrance at EPCOT®, you’ll have to hop on a bus to get to Hollywood Studios®. I don’t recommend it.
  • From Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club Resort, Beach Club Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin – walking path, or take the Friendship Boats.
  • From Disney’s Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort – Skyliner. Transfers on the Skyliner may be required. Buses are not available from these resorts.
  • From ALL other Resorts – Bus*

How to Get from one Resort to another Resort

Take any form of transportation to the nearest Park or Disney Springs and then take available transportation to your Destination Resort. Seriously enjoy the “bubble”. Skyliner and Monorail are almost always faster than a bus.

pro tip star and sparkles

Minnie Vans have returned and while they are an extra cost, they’re a quick way to get from one place to another. Especially early morning or late night, and a great way to avoid the bus.

*Bus service between Parks is occasionally based on Attendance and is not always available. Please see a Cast Member to see if Park-to-Park Bus Service is available on that particular day.
