Experience the ultimate dining delight at Disney Springs’ The Boathouse. Offering a mesmerizing waterfront view, this venue promises an unforgettable culinary journey. Celebrated for its delectable seafood options, including creamy Mac ‘N Cheese and Truffle Fries, as well as the irresistible Dockside Shrimp Boil, The Boathouse ensures a delightful feast for all. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion like a 13th birthday or simply seeking a memorable dining experience while visiting Disney World, make sure to include The Boathouse in your itinerary for an unparalleled gastronomic adventure.
Here is what you should know about The Boathouse Dining Experience.
1. Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs)
Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) are required for this location—the Boathouse is one of the most-popular restaurants on Disney Springs property. You’ll want to snag that ADR as soon as possible. Currently, ADRs can be made 60 days prior to arrival.
2. Location
The Boathouse is located in Disney Springs right by Paddlefish. Need to know how to get there? Check out the blog on Disney Parks Transportation.
The Boathouse is in such a great location – with an outdoor beer cart of its own and The Waterview Park stage just next door. There’s often great live music happening in the evenings and lots of seating.
3. Characters
Sadly there are no characters at this restaurant.
4. Food
The Boathouse is an amazing seafood extravaganza for both lunch and dinner. They serve so many seafood options, as well as salads, steaks, burgers, Mac ‘n Cheese, and (yum) truffle fries. You’ll start off with delicious bread glazed in sweet butter.
Desserts for after-you-eat include Key lime pie, caramel apple bread pudding, Macadamia Turtle Pie, Pumpkin cheesecake, and a triple chocolate cake (I mean doesn’t that sound amazing?).
5. Atmosphere
The atmosphere/scenery is one of the best I have ever seen. When you step into the restaurant you are taken into what feels and looks like a ship at sea. There are so many details in this restaurant. This place is quite busy but it is just so different and entertaining. If you like visual restaurants this restaurant is for you. These include boat-style booths, the different types of fish paintings on the wall, as well as the life perseveres on the wall.
PRO TIP: Looking for a little fun before or after dinner – you can really explore the waterfront views with a ride on the Vintage Amphicars right next door. It can be booked at the BOATHOUSE BOUTIQUE.
6. Disney Dining Plan and Dicounts
Lunch or dinner are 2 Table Service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. 10% discounts are offered to Disney Vacation Club members.
6. Extras
If you need something to do while you wait for your table, you are lucky that The Boathouse is located in Disney Springs, which is home to many different shops. There are many different types of souvenirs for your trip. Don’t skip the Lego and M&M Store – even if you didn’t bring the kids! It also is a great place to take photos with its waterfront view.
