Looking for a quick lunch or dinner and a little entertainment? Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort is it! While not all Quick Service locations are full of burgers, chicken, and fries. This one is, and it is such a treat! It’s’ our go to – because the mobile order is consistently fast and easy to use. While most restaurants do mobile order now, Cosmic Ray’s has been doing it the longest of the restaurants in Magic Kingdom® Park.
Here’s what you should know about the Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe Dining Experience.
- Quick Service – Mobile Order. This means NO ADRs are required for this location. You can easily mobile order from the MyDisneyExperience App and select a time for pick up.
While Cosmic Ray’s isn’t known to fill up with orders for the day, I still recommend putting in your order early and choosing your preferred pick up time for later in the day (like lunch time). Trust me, you do not want to be taking your group’s order while someone, or everyone, is HANGRY.
- Location. Located at the transition from Fantasyland®to Tomorrowland®, it’s the perfect option for a quick sit down or break from the heat {or the rain}.
- Characters. While he’s not a traditional “Disney” character – Sonny Eclipse entertains with music and chatter, super fun for littles.
- Food. Picky eaters unite! There is something for everyone on this classic menu. The out-of-this-world menu changes with the season and you’ll find treats for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, and all the other fun seasons and holidays. I am a big, big fan of a great burger. A self-proclaimed connoisseur, if you will. {Ask my people, they’ll tell you it’s true.} What makes a great burger better? Stamping it with Mickey Mouse!
My family favorite is the s’mores dessert. We also love, love the classic burger here.
- Atmosphere. Cosmic Ray’s brings a fun atmosphere with the feel of a classic diner and entertainment from the best alien in the galaxy – Sonny Eclipse. There is usually plenty of indoor seating and it’s airconditioned, so that’s a big plus.
