Where Can I Get Coffee at Animal Kingdom

There are two camps of people when it comes to coffee at Disney Parks – Joffrey’s or Starbucks. I have a personal preference for sure, but coffee connoisseurs are still in debate on which is better.

PRO TIP: If you’re a Starbucks fan, be on the lookout, much like a Hidden Mickey, they’re not easily spotted.

Joffrey’s is a Tampa-based coffee company that can be purchased worldwide. They became the official coffee of Disney in 2012, even though Joffrey’s was first served at Disney since 1995. {Fun Fact: Disney only served Nescafe before Joffrey’s arrived.}  Starbucks came to the Magic Kingdom over a year later and then popped up with one location in each Disney Park. You’ll find Joffrey’s served in every location with coffee at Disney from restaurants to snack locations and at Disney Resorts, including in your room, except for Starbucks.

If you’re planning Disney vacation and planning on early mornings, you’re definitely asking – Where can I get coffee? Here’s the list!

Starbucks at Animal Kingdom

Starbucks

There’s one Starbucks location in each of the four parks at The Most Magical Place on Earth. At Animal Kingdom, you’ll be looking for Creature Comforts. On the main path from the entrance, go left of the tree, just before you enter Africa.

PRO TIP: Starbucks at Disney sell park-specific merchandise. So if you see a Starbucks mug with an Animal Kingdom design, buy it now, it won’t be available in other locations.

Disney Starbucks allow you to scan your app to pay and earn points, but you aren’t able to redeem rewards at their locations.

Joffrey's at Animal Kingdom

Like I mentioned before Joffrey’s is served all over at restaurants and resorts at Walt Disney World, in the Animal Kingdom, here’s where you’ll find it.

  • Joffrey’s Kiosk at the entrance to Animal Kingdom. This location is special because it is outside the entrance – which makes it perfect for Rope Drop waiting.
  • Joffrey’s Specialty. Royal Anandapur Tea Company in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom – they’re known for the Frozen Chai! (Yes, please!)
  • Joffrey’s Hot Coffee. Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery, Nomad Lounge, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, Yak and Yeti, Thirsty River, Pongu Pongu, and Satu’li Canteen all serve hot coffee.
  • Iced Coffee. Isle of Java (Discovery Island) serves iced, flavored, and hot coffee. Restaurantosaurus, Harambe Market, and Kusafiri Coffee Shop.
  • Spiked Coffee. Alcoholic coffee will add to your day at Nomad Lounge, Tiffins, Isle of Java, Royal Anandapur Tea Company, Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery, Tamu Tamu, and Dawa Bar.

PROTIP: Need to find a snack to go with your boost of caffeine – here are the best snacks you don’t want to miss at Animal Kingdom.
