Sleepy adults wake up thinking of one thing on their Disney vacation – Where can I get coffee? People who need a mid-afternoon dose of caffeine are asking the same – Where can I get coffee? If you’re planning a Disney vacation, you’ll want to know too!
There are two camps of people when it comes to coffee at Disney Parks – Joffrey’s or Starbucks. I have a personal preference for sure, but coffee connoisseurs are still in debate on which is better.
PRO TIP: If you’re a Starbucks fan, be on the lookout, much like a Hidden Mickey, they’re not easily spotted and disguised as other shops.
Joffrey’s is a Tampa-based coffee company that can be purchased worldwide. They became the official coffee of Disney in 2012, even though Joffrey’s was first served at Disney since 1995. {Fun Fact: Disney only served Nescafe before Joffrey’s arrived.} Starbucks came to the Magic Kingdom over a year later and then popped up with one location in each Disney Park. You’ll find Joffrey’s served in every location with coffee at Disney from restaurants to snack locations and at Disney Resorts, including in your room, except for Starbucks.
Starbucks at Hollywood Studios
There’s one Starbucks location in each of the four parks at The Most Magical Place on Earth. At Hollywood Studios, you’ll be looking for the Trolley Car Cafe. Disguised as a trolley stop, this cute spot on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard is one of my favorite spots at Hollywood Studios. This Starbucks is the home to my very favorite park snack – The Carrot Cake Cookie. Get one, and thank me later. 😉
Most people think of HS as the spot for Star Wars, but I like food, so I think of it as the “cookie place”. Check out the great list of snacks at Hollywood Studios for some yummy treats with your coffee. Usually they’ll hold the crowds near this fork in the roads which makes it perfect for Rope Drop waiting.
PRO TIP: Starbucks at Disney sell park-specific merchandise. So if you see a Starbucks mug with a Hollywood Studios design, buy it now, it won’t be available in other locations.
Disney Starbucks allow you to scan your app to pay and earn points, but you aren’t able to redeem rewards at their locations.
Joffrey's at Hollywood Studios
Like I mentioned before, Joffrey’s is served all over at restaurants and resorts at Walt Disney World, in Hollywood Studios, here’s where you’ll find it.
- Joffrey’s Kiosk – Tower of Terror. If the line is longer than 13 minutes, you’ll want to grab a beverage while you wait. This location serves specialty coffee, hot and cold options and snacks.
- Joffrey’s Kiosk – Toy Story Land. Remember when I said Hollywood Studios is the “cookie place”? Cookie No 2 is here – the Jack Jack Num Num and along with a iced, frozen, specialty, or hot coffee you’ll need it before you begin to explore Toy Story Land.
- Woody’s Lunchbox. Hot and iced Joffrey’s is here. But if I were you, I’d skip it and get the “Grown Up Lemonade”.
- Oga’s Cantina. This location requires a reservation (but sometimes they take walk ups), stop in for good music, a fun vibe, and a hot, cold, or alcoholic coffee drink – among other treats and drinks.
- Black Spire Outpost. Iced coffee, but a special treat here – a spiked cold brew called the Black Caf, the Godiva liquor addition is *chefs kiss*!
The best snacks at Hollywood Studios are helpful to go with your coffee, and if you need to know where to find coffee at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or EPCOT we’ve got that covered too.
